Maintenance and Care
While the Cerakote finish is exceptionally durable, simple maintenance ensures the bar performs at its peak for decades.
Regular Brushing: Use a synthetic (nylon) bristle brush to clear chalk, sweat, and debris from the knurling after use. Important: Avoid steel brushes as they can damage the Cerakote finish.
Cleaning: Apply a light coat of 3-in-1 oil to the knurl periodically and wipe dry with a clean cloth to preserve the steel.
Lubrication: Bronze bushings are self-lubricating, but a drop of 3-in-1 oil can be added to the sleeve interface if rotation begins to feel sluggish.
Sleeve Protection: Metal-to-metal contact with plates and J-cups will show wear. Rogue recommends using J-cups with plastic liners to preserve the chrome aesthetic.
