Performance Benefits
The LT-1 50 CAL Trolley 2.0 allows users to instantly transition between movements such as incline bench presses, rack pulls, shrugs, squats, deadlifts, bent-over rows, snatches, and lunges. By utilizing the 50 Cal-inspired trigger handles, athletes can easily glide the trolley north or south along the uprights, locking it precisely where needed. For added versatility, the inclusion of a stainless steel locking key allows the lever arms to be locked in a straight "down" position. When locked down, they act as functional standard Monster Lite uprights, capable of holding J-cups for standard barbell exercises.
Maintenance and Care
To maintain smooth operation of the trolley system, regularly inspect the bronze bushings and acetal rollers to ensure they are free from dust, chalk, and debris. The 5/8" detent pins and spring-loaded triggers should be periodically checked to guarantee they snap securely into the uprights without obstruction. Wipe down the steel mounting brackets, weight posts, and textured handles with a clean, dry cloth after sweaty workouts to prevent corrosion. Ensure the rubber bumpers at the base of the lever arms remain intact to protect your rack's upright finish from metal-on-metal contact. Important: The rack MUST be bolted to the ground prior to using this attachment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will this fit on my standard Monster series rack? A: No, this specific LT-1 kit features 5/8" hardware designed for the Monster Lite series. A separate Monster version (with 1" hardware) is sold separately.
Q: How do I know which arm length to choose? A: The kit comes in 48" Standard or 35" Short lengths. The 35" arms are recommended if you plan to mount the trolley on a smaller upright or if you want to use the arms on the inside of a 43" depth rack. 48" arms will not fit inside a 43" depth rack.
Q: Do I need to bolt my rack down to use this? A: Yes, for your safety and the stability of the equipment, your Monster Lite rack MUST be bolted to the floor before using the lever arms.
Q: Will my standard barbell collars work on the weight posts? A: No, standard barbell collars will not fit the sleeves on the trolley loading pin. You will need to use compatible Axle collars to secure your plates.
