Key Features & Specifications
Shaft Diameter: 28.5mm (Multipurpose standard; bridges the gap between Oly and Power bars).
Weight: 20KG (44 lbs).
Tensile Strength: 190,000 PSI (Optimal balance of rigidity and natural whip).
Shaft Finish: Red, White, and Blue Cerakote—a polymer-ceramic composite coating that provides up to 100X the corrosion resistance of standard black zinc.
Sleeve Finish: Bright Zinc—provides reliable oxidation resistance and a classic look.
Knurling: Dual knurl marks (IWF and IPF) with a "middle of the road" feel—firm enough for heavy pulls but non-abrasive for high-rep "metcons."
Center Knurl: No. Saves the skin on the neck during high-rep cleans and front squats.
Rotation System: Quality bronze bushings for a smooth, reliable, and consistent spin.
Durability Rating: F8-R (Highly resistant to fatigue; treated with patented Rogue Work Hardening).
Origin: Made in the USA from US steel.
Cerakote Finish Benefits
Extreme Corrosion Resistance: Ideal for home and garage gyms in humid environments.
Thin-Film Durability: The coating is thin enough to preserve the tactile feel of the knurl while being extremely resistant to abrasion.
Unique Aesthetic: Features a detailed Stars and Stripes design with Rogue branding on the shaft.
Maintenance and Care
While Cerakote and Zinc are highly durable, basic maintenance is required to preserve the finish and performance.
Regular Brushing: Use a synthetic (nylon) bristle brush to clear chalk and debris from the knurling after use. Important: NEVER use a steel brush on Cerakote, as it will scratch and damage the finish.
Cleaning: Apply a light coat of 3-in-1 oil or high-quality machine oil to the knurl periodically, brush it in, and wipe dry with a clean cloth.
Bushing Care: If the rotation begins to feel restricted, a drop of 3-in-1 oil can be added to the sleeve-to-shaft interface.
Racking: To preserve the aesthetic, Rogue recommends using J-cups with plastic liners rather than bare steel contact.
Warranty Information
The Rogue Freedom Bar is backed by a Lifetime Warranty against bending and construction defects.
Coverage: Applies to the original purchaser.
Exclusions: Does not cover normal finish wear or damage caused by negligence (e.g., dropping the bar on a box, bench, or safety pins).
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Can I rack this bar in a standard power rack? A: Yes. It is a full-length 86.75" barbell and is compatible with all standard Rogue power racks, squat stands, and rigs.
Q: Does it include a free trial for Rogue Move? A: Most Rogue flagship barbells include a 30-day free trial to the Rogue Move subscription service. Please check your order confirmation for details.
Q: What is the F-Rating? A: The F-Rating (F8-R) represents the bar's high resistance to fatigue. It is rated to outlast 15+ years in a high-volume CrossFit gym and a lifetime in a home gym.
