Performance Benefits
Modular Customization: Athletes can swap handles in seconds to change grip width or handle material, allowing one base attachment to serve multiple exercises and users.
Versatile Movement Support: Used horizontally for dips (Steel/Stainless only) or pull-ups, or vertically for landmine and cable training.
Exceptional Tactile Grip: The 1-3/8” diameter combined with signature knurling provides a secure, ergonomic grip that minimizes hand fatigue during heavy pulling or pressing movements.
Weight Shifting: Aluminum handles can be used to lighten cable attachments for high-rep accessory work, while solid steel options provide a robust, heavy-duty feel for primary lifts.
Maintenance and Care
Handle Cleaning: * Stainless Steel: Use a plastic bristle brush to clear chalk and skin debris from the knurling.
Aluminum/Matte Black: Wipe with a damp microfiber cloth. Avoid metal brushes on anodized or powder-coated finishes to prevent scratching.
Thread Care: Periodically inspect the 1" threads on the handle and the receiving barrels/nuts. Keep them free of debris to ensure smooth, hand-tightened assembly.
Disclaimer on Aluminum Handles: Aluminum variants are designed for cable and landmine work. CRITICAL: Do not use aluminum handles horizontally for bodyweight movements like dips or pull-ups; use Steel or Stainless Steel handles for these applications.
Safety Protocol: When using solid steel or stainless steel handles with cable attachments, always support the attachment when changing weights on the stack to prevent it from falling.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do these include the knurled knobs for mounting? A: No, the CNC-machined knurled knobs are sold as a separate pair. They are required for securing the handles to the UDA frame.
Q: Can I put the end-cap flanges on any length handle? A: No. Currently, the tapped ends for optional flanged end caps are only available on the 5” and 8” handles. Longer handles (12", 15", 18") generally do not feature tapped ends for flanges.
Q: Are these compatible with non-Rogue 3x3 racks? A: These handles are designed to thread into specific Mutant Metals frames (UDA/ARC). However, if you have the knurled knobs, they can be used to mount the handles through 1" holes on any standard 3x3 rack upright for use as pull-up or support handles.
