Maintenance and Care
Fastener Inspection: Monthly audits of the 1" hardware are recommended, particularly in facilities where high-momentum movements (butterfly pull-ups) are frequent.
Surface Cleaning: Wipe down powder-coated surfaces with a mild detergent and water to remove perspiration and chalk. Note: Satin Clear finishes are transparent and will show manufacturing marks in the steel.
UHMW Liner Check: Regularly inspect the plastic liners on Monster J-cups. Replace any liners that show signs of thinning to prevent damage to barbell knurling.
Anchor Verification: Important: The unit must be bolted to the floor. Periodically check that floor anchors remain tight and flush against the concrete surface.
Warranty Information
Rogue Fitness provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the structural welds and frame of the Monster Rig 2.0 for the original purchaser. This covers defects in material and workmanship but does not extend to normal wear and tear, finishes, or damage caused by improper assembly or negligence.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I interchange accessories from the Monster Lite or Infinity series? A: No. The Monster series is built with 1" holes and 3x3" steel. Most accessories from the Lite (5/8") or Infinity (2x3") series will not be compatible with the larger hardware and upright dimensions.
Q: Does the rig come with floor anchors? A: No. Floor anchoring hardware is sold separately. A "Rogue Rig Concrete Anchor Kit" is available to ensure you have the correct number of anchors for your specific rig length.
Q: Can I add pull-up bars at different heights? A: Yes, the system includes sufficient hardware to configure all crossmembers at a uniform height. If you wish to alternate crossmember heights for athletes of different sizes, additional hardware may be required.
Q: Is the Satin Clear finish a solid color? A: No, Satin Clear is a transparent finish. Any blemishes, heat marks, or industrial marks from the manufacturing process will be visible through the coating.
