Overview
The Rogue 26'ER™ Wagon Wheel set is an oversized, 26” diameter bumper plate pair designed to simulate block pulls without the need for actual blocks. Made from durable recycled rubber, these plates automatically elevate a standard Olympic barbell to a height approximately 4” higher than standard plates. This makes them an ideal training tool for taller athletes, powerlifters working on lockout strength, or individuals with mobility limitations. At 70 lbs each, they provide a heavy, stable base for overloading deadlifts.

Performance Benefits
Block Pull Alternative: Elevates the bar to a specific starting point (approx. 13-14" off the floor), eliminating the time-consuming setup of pulling blocks or mats.
Lockout Strength: Specifically targets the top portion of the deadlift, allowing athletes to overload the movement and bust through sticking points.
Spine and Joint Health: The elevated start position makes it easier for lifters with back or knee issues to get into a proper deadlift position and maintain a neutral spine.
Easy Loading: Because they are 26" in diameter, you can easily slide standard 45 lb or 25 lb plates on and off the barbell without needing a deadlift jack.
Mobility Training: Excellent for teaching new lifters or those with limited range of motion the mechanics of the hip hinge before progressing to floor-start deadlifts.
Maintenance and Care
The 26'ER is a robust, heavy-duty implement but requires basic care due to its size and material.
Cleaning: Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap to remove chalk, sweat, and dust. Avoid harsh chemicals that could degrade the recycled rubber.
Initial Odor: As with most crumb rubber products, new plates may have a slight "new tire" scent. This is normal and typically dissipates within a few weeks of unboxing.
Storage: Store on a dedicated plate tree, horizontally in a stack, or vertically in a toaster rack large enough to accommodate the 26" diameter.
Handling: Use the recessed "grip" edges when moving the plates. Because of the 70 lb weight and large diameter, use caution when loading alone.
Warranty Information
The Rogue 26'ER Wagon Wheel Pair is backed by a Construction Warranty against manufacturing defects.
Coverage: Applies to the original purchaser.
Exclusions: Does not cover damage caused by dropping the bar onto safety pins, boxes, or non-rubber surfaces. While they are bumper plates, dropping them from a full lockout height is not recommended as it puts excessive stress on the center hub of such a large diameter plate.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Can I use these for bench pressing? A: Yes. Some lifters use 26'ERs for benching as a safety mechanism or to create a "board press" effect where the plates hit the floor (or mats) at the bottom of the movement, limiting the range of motion.
Q: Will these fit in a standard deadlift jack? A: Most standard mini-jacks and full jacks are designed for 450mm (17.7") plates. Because these are 26", most jacks will not be compatible. However, the size of the plate itself makes loading other weights easy without a jack.
Q: How do these compare to the steel Wagon Wheels? A: The 26'ERs are rubber (70 lbs) and have a wider profile (3"). The Rogue Wagon Wheel Pair is laser-cut steel (45 lbs) and much thinner. The rubber version is more budget-friendly and easier on floors.
Q: Can I use these outdoors? A: Yes. The recycled crumb rubber construction is highly durable and uniquely suited for outdoor training on concrete or asphalt.
