Performance Benefits
Competition Readiness: By training with plates accurate to within 10 grams, athletes ensure their gym numbers translate perfectly to the competition platform.
Maximized Bar Loading: The slim-cut engineering is specifically designed for high-tonnage lifting (Squat, Bench, Deadlift), ensuring the bar's center of gravity stays close to the lifter.
Improved Stability: Precision machining on the back and rim ensures plates sit perfectly flush against each other, minimizing rattle and weight shift during the lift.
Standardized Color Coding: High-visibility IWF/IPF standard colors allow coaches and athletes to immediately identify bar weight from a distance.
Maintenance and Care
Cleaning: Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap to remove chalk and debris. Dry immediately to protect the powder coat finish.
Finish Care: Like all metal plates, the powder coat finish may chip or scuff with heavy metal-on-metal contact; this is normal and does not affect the weight accuracy.
Barbell Compatibility: These plates have tight tolerances. While they fit all Rogue Olympic bars, they may not fit on lower-quality or budget bars that do not meet standard sleeve diameter specs.
Control Your Drops: These are steel plates, not bumpers. Always control the bar back to the floor; never drop steel plates, as it can damage the plates, floor, and barbell.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between these and the "Black" version? A: These plates follow the standard color-coding for weight identification, while the Black version uses a black E-coat finish for an understated look. Both share the same +/- 10g tolerance.
Q: Are these IPF-Approved? A: These LB plates follow the same specifications and are manufactured alongside our IPF-certified KG version, but the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) only officially certifies metric (KG) equipment for sanctioned meets.
Q: Do I need a special deadlift bar for these? A: No, but they are highly popular with deadlift bars (like the Rogue Ohio Deadlift Bar) because their thinness allows for a massive amount of weight on the sleeves.
