Overview
The Rogue Flat Utility Bench 2.0 is the essential, heavy-duty flat bench in the Rogue lineup. Re-engineered for greater stability and durability, the 2.0 version features a single-piece, fully welded frame that eliminates the need for any assembly. Built with 2x3” 11-gauge steel, it provides a "rock-solid" foundation for everything from heavy barbell bench presses to dumbbell movements and step-ups. It is designed to be a "set-and-forget" piece of equipment that arrives ready to use out of the box.

Performance Benefits
Zero Assembly: Ships fully assembled. You can start lifting the moment you unbox it.
Maximum Stability: The combination of a welded frame and angled legs ensures the bench does not wobble or shift, even under extreme loads.
Commercial Grade: Rated for 1,000+ LBS, it is suitable for the strongest athletes and highest-traffic facilities.
Grippy Surface: The self-skinning foam pad provides superior traction compared to standard vinyl, which is critical for maintaining shoulder position and leg drive during heavy presses.
Lightweight Portability: At just 40 LBS, it is very easy to move around the gym by hand, yet remains incredibly stout once planted.
Maintenance and Care
Pad Hygiene: Wipe down the polyurethane pad after each workout with a mild, non-abrasive disinfectant. The self-skinning surface is highly resistant to sweat absorption.
Welding Check: Because there are no bolts, maintenance is minimal. Periodically inspect the welds and the rubber feet for any signs of extreme wear or damage.
Surface Cleaning: Use a mild soap and water solution to clean the matte black powder coat.
Storage: While it does not fold, it can be easily stored against a wall. Rogue offers an optional Wall-Mounted Bench Hanger specifically designed to reclaim floor space.
Warranty Information
Frame and Welds: Limited Lifetime Warranty.
Padding: Standard Rogue warranty on wear items.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is this bench IPF legal?
A: The IPF standard height for benches is between 16.5" and 17.7". At 18" tall, the Utility Bench 2.0 is slightly taller than competition standard. For a true competition-height bench, see the Monster Lite Competition Bench.
Q: Can I use the Thompson Fat Pad with this bench?
A: No. The Utility Bench 2.0 frame is not compatible with the wide-pad hole pattern. If you want to use a Fat Pad, you should choose the Monster Utility Bench 2.0.
: Will it scratch my floor?
A: No, the 2.0 version comes standard with heavy-duty rubber feet that prevent the steel frame from contacting and scratching gym flooring or concrete.
Q: Can I use this on uneven floors?
A: Because it is a welded frame, it cannot be "adjusted" to match a slope. For significantly uneven floors, the Rogue Bolt-Together Utility Bench is a better option as it can be leveled during assembly.
