While the TANK system utilizes magnetic resistance and technically does not require weight plates to increase drag, the Weight Horn Kit allows elite athletes to add load to the frame to increase tire traction and overall vehicle stability during high-speed or high-torque drills. This ensures the tires "bite" into the training surface, preventing skidding and allowing for 100% force transfer from the athlete to the sled.
