Overview
Dynamax Medicine Balls are the industry standard for high-velocity wall ball training. As the originators of the soft-shell medicine ball, Dynamax engineered these implements to be safely caught and thrown at maximum speeds without the risk of injury associated with hard rubber balls. Proudly made in the USA, they are essential for developing explosive power, metabolic conditioning, and core stability in CrossFit affiliates, professional sports facilities, and home gyms worldwide.

Key Features and Specifications
Made in the USA: Hand-constructed to ensure the highest quality and balance.
Ergonomic Soft Shell: Features dense padding that makes the ball impact-absorbing and safe to catch during high-repetition wall ball sets.
Uniform Size: Most weight increments share a consistent large diameter (approx. 14"), ensuring consistent mechanics as you progress in weight.
Weight Range Classes:
Stinger: 4LB & 6LB (light and fast).
Accelerator: 8LB & 10LB (medium weight for high feedback).
Stout: 12LB & 14LB (standard power development).
Hefty: 16LB & 18LB (heavy weight for serious athletes).
Burly/Monster: 20LB, 25LB, & 30LB (maximum strength and power).
Construction: Heavy-duty, scuff-resistant casing with reinforced stitching designed for daily indoor/outdoor use.
Color: Typically features a Black shell with weight-specific labeling.
Performance Benefits
Athlete Safety: The primary advantage of Dynamax is the ability to catch the ball when thrown at high velocity without fear of hand or facial injury.
Balanced Weight Distribution: Precision internal filling ensures the weight stays centered, preventing the "wobble" or "lopsidedness" common in lower-quality medicine balls.
Full-Body Conditioning: Versatile enough for dozens of movements, including wall ball shots, medball cleans, trunk twists, weighted squats, and sit-ups.
Consistent Feedback: The Stout and Hefty series provide ideal feedback for power development, while the Stinger series is optimized for speed and agility work.
Maintenance and Care
Cleaning: Wipe down the vinyl casing with a damp cloth and mild soap to remove sweat and chalk. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners that could degrade the casing material.
Surface Recommendation: Use on smooth surfaces such as rubber gym mats or wooden floors. Do not use on rough, aggregate surfaces like asphalt or concrete, as this will prematurely wear out the stitching and scuff the shell.
Usage Restrictions: NOT intended for slams. Slamming a Dynamax ball into the ground from overhead will void the warranty and lead to internal damage. For slams, use a dedicated "dead-bounce" ball like the Rogue Echo Slam Ball.
Storage: Store on a flat surface or a medicine ball rack. Avoid stacking heavy items on top of the balls to prevent them from becoming misshapen over time.
Warranty Information
Warranty Period: Dynamax Medicine Balls are warrantied for 2 Years after the date of purchase.
Exclusions: The warranty is void if the product is abused by repeated impact on rough aggregate surfaces or by slamming the ball into the ground from overhead.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I use these for medball slams? A: No. Dynamax balls are designed for throwing and catching. Slamming them will eventually cause the seams to split. If you want to do slams, purchase the Rogue Echo Slam Ball.
Q: Do they bounce? A: They have a very slight, "dead" rebound designed to be safe for catching. They do not have a high bounce like a standard rubber medicine ball.
Q: Why are they so much larger than other medballs? A: The 14" diameter is standard for "wall balls." This size allows for better weight distribution and makes the ball easier to hold against the chest and catch reliably.
Q: Will the ball lose its shape? A: Dynamax is known for its ability to maintain its roundness over years of high-volume use, provided they are not used for slamming.
