Overview
The Rogue Gear Registry allows athletes, gym owners, and fitness enthusiasts to curate a wishlist of Rogue equipment for special events such as gym openings, weddings, or birthdays. The Search Index is the portal used by friends, family, and colleagues to find and purchase items from a specific user's registry.
Registry Search Page: Gear Registry Search
How to Search for a Registry
Users can locate a Gear Registry using any of the following three methods on the search page:
Search by Name: Enter the first and last name of the registry creator.
Search by Email: Enter the primary email address associated with the registry creator’s Rogue account.
Search by Registry ID: Enter the unique numerical ID assigned to the specific Gear Registry.
Key Features for Registry Users
Real-Time Availability: The registry updates in real-time as items are purchased, preventing duplicate gifts.
Direct Shipping: Buyers can choose to ship items directly to the address provided by the registry creator, or to their own address if they prefer to deliver the gift in person.
Gift Tracking: Registry creators can log in to their account to see which items have been purchased and by whom (depending on the buyer’s privacy settings).
For Registry Creators: How to Manage Your List
To create or manage your own Gear Registry:
Log In: You must have a registered Rogue account.
Add Items: Navigate to any product page and select the "Add to Registry" link located near the "Add to Cart" button.
Privacy Settings: You can set your registry to Public (searchable via the index), Private, or Shared via Link Only.
Share: Once your registry is created, you will receive a unique URL and Registry ID to share with your network.
Troubleshooting Search Issues
If you are unable to find a specific registry:
Verify Spelling: Ensure the name or email address is spelled exactly as it appears in the creator's Rogue profile.
Check Privacy Status: The registry may be set to "Private" or "Unlisted." In this case, you will need the direct link or Registry ID from the creator.
Store Localization: Ensure you are searching in the correct regional store (e.g., Rogue Canada registries will not appear in the US store search).
