Overview
Rogue Fitness has partnered with Truemed to help customers use their Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds on qualifying fitness equipment. By obtaining a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) through a brief health assessment, eligible users can use pre-tax dollars to treat, manage, or prevent medical conditions, potentially saving 30–40% on their purchase.

How the Process Works
Using HSA/FSA funds at Rogue is a reimbursement-based process. Do not use your HSA/FSA card directly at checkout.
Make Your Purchase: Place your order on RogueFitness.com using a standard credit or debit card.
Complete Health Assessment: Look for the Truemed link on your order confirmation screen or in your confirmation email. You must complete this private survey on the same day as your purchase.
Receive Your LMN: An independent licensed practitioner will review your survey. If approved, you will receive an electronic Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN).
Submit for Reimbursement: Submit your Rogue receipt and the Truemed LMN to your HSA/FSA plan administrator to receive your reimbursement.
Eligible Product Categories
While final eligibility is determined by the medical practitioner based on your specific health needs, the following categories often contain eligible items:
Conditioning: Echo Bikes, Rowers, Treadmills, Ski Machines.
Strength Equipment: Adjustable benches, belt squats, functional trainers, and cable towers.
Strength Gear: Dumbbells, kettlebells, and sandbags.
Racks & Stands: Power racks, squat stands, and wall-mount racks.
Bars & Plates: Barbells, bumper plates, and iron plates.
Key Benefits
Significant Savings: By using pre-tax dollars, you effectively reduce the cost of your gym equipment by your current tax rate (typically 30–40%).
Long-Term Use: Once you have an active LMN, it can often be used for future eligible Rogue purchases within its valid period.
Simple Compliance: Truemed handles the medical oversight to ensure your fitness spending meets IRS requirements for medical expenses.
