Overview
Rx Jump Rope Replacement Cables are aircraft-grade cables with a specialized PVC coating, designed specifically for use with Rx Custom Jump Ropes. Because Rx ropes are custom-built to fixed lengths, these replacement cables allow athletes to easily update their rope for different training goals, replace worn-out equipment, or adjust the cable weight as their skill level progresses.

Maintenance and Care
Surface Restriction: These cables feature a PVC coating over wire. Use only on rubber mats or non-abrasive indoor surfaces. Outdoor use on concrete or asphalt will cause the PVC to tear and the wire to fray, significantly shortening the cable life.
Storage: Rx PVC-coated cables are designed not to retain memory. For best results, store in a loose coil and avoid kinking the inner wire.
Exchange Policy: Rogue offers a one-time exchange within 30 days if you do not get the perfect fit the first time. Please note that custom Rx items are otherwise non-returnable.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Can I use these cables with Rogue SR-series handles?
A: No. Rx replacement cables are designed specifically for the swivel-axis heads of Rx Custom Jump Rope handles. They are not compatible with the set-screw systems of the SR-1 or SR-2.
Q: How do I change the cable?
A: You must remove the old cable from your existing Rx handles and thread the new cable through. Detailed instructions are provided with the replacement cable.
Q: Why is my cable slapping the ground?
A: This is usually a sign that the cable is too long for your height or your hands are too far away from your body. Check the Fit Guide above or try bringing your elbows closer to your ribs to shorten the arc.
